The internet is avery big and a scary place to make it feel a bit more safer we use proxies so what is a proxy you say a proxy server is an intermediary for requests so lets say i want to acces netflix or spotify but you find those 2 are blocked in you country what do you do you use a proxy that has an ip of a country that is allowed to those sites mostly us so you will send a request to the proxy server in the us then the server sends a request to the site wich make it look that the request is coming from the us proxies are used as vpn all the time they are used to encrypte our data and providing anonymity
